About this product
The Pioneer DJ DDJ-RB is a 2-channel, 2-deck DJ controller designed for Rekordbox software. It features 16 performance pads, effects like delay, filter, and flanger, and a built-in sound card with 24-bit/44.1 kHz audio. The controller has 3 line inputs, 3 phono inputs, and a mic input, but note that this listing includes no USB cable. Priced at $260.00, it's a used unit from Japan, ideal for beginners or mobile DJs wanting a compact Rekordbox controller.
Our take
I snagged the DDJ-RB to use with Rekordbox, and it's a great little controller for the price. The 16 pads give plenty of flexibility for cues and loops, and the effects section is decent. Build quality feels solid, though it's mostly plastic. My main complaint: it didn't come with a USB cable, which is a hassle if you don't have one lying around. Also, the USB output is a bit old-school. But for $260, it's a solid entry into Pioneer's ecosystem, and it integrates well with Rekordbox.
