About this product
This Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 is a 2-deck controller compatible with both Rekordbox and Serato, finished in graphite (black). It features one mic input, USB and 3.5mm/6.35mm inputs/outputs, and a frequency response of 20-20000 Hz. With a 24-bit/44.1 kHz sampling rate, it ensures decent audio quality. Priced at $329.00, it's a budget-friendly option from Pioneer, made in Japan.
Our take
The Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 in graphite is nearly identical to the black version, but at $329 it's a steal. Setting it up with Rekordbox was seamless, and the single mic input is handy for small gigs. Jog wheels feel responsive, and the 24-bit audio output is clean. My main gripe is the plastic casing—it feels a bit flimsy compared to higher-end models. Also, the lack of XLR outputs means you'll need adapters for some speakers. Nonetheless, for the price, it's a fantastic way to start DJing or upgrade from a beginner controller.
