The DDJ-400 is a fantastic entry-level controller from Pioneer. It's compact and portable, perfect for bedroom DJs. The layout is intuitive, and the 16 pads give plenty of room for cue points and effects. Integration with Rekordbox is seamless, making it easy to manage your library. The HDMI input is a nice bonus for connecting external screens. However, it lacks a manufacturer warranty, which is concerning. The sound quality is decent at 24-bit, but I wish there were more connectivity options. For the price, it's a solid starter controller that will serve you well until you're ready to upgrade.
